Some serious style has arrived in Fyshwick in the form of Rockabilly Boutique. Brooke Varova, formerly of Gloss Hair, Form, Axis and Next has spent many months searching out and finding some classic gear for her funky vintage salon fit-out.
Pedestal pod styling chairs provide comfort for busy people in need of some pampering. Cold refreshments are found in the teal Kelvinator fridge and the ultimate Mad Men moment is to sit in the 1940’s Raynor barber chair. A revamped retro bar becomes the reception desk.
From retro to contemporary, Brooke specialises in colour, cutting and styling with a big emphasis on style, where the cut is the architectural frame and the style makes the most of the ram material – the individual person.
Brooke’s extensive experience covers wedding hair, special occasions, vintage and modern styling. Having been a member of the Redken session styling team at Rosemount Fashion Week and Fashion Festival in Sydney is testament to her skills and experience. Brooke’s ability to achieve natural looking blonde foils is legendary and she loves to see a client’s thrilled response to a challenging task.
We have just moved to a fabulous new space at Unit 2/80-82 Wollongong Street, Fyshwick.
